Scotland #13 - Towards Rhu Peninsula from Ardvasar
Scotland #13 - Towards Rhu Peninsula from Ardvasar
Sometimes it's worth getting wet! It was chucking it down when I dragged the dog out of our cottage at 6am, and the clouds were hanging low over the Aird of Sleat.
Something told me that things might improve and besides, the dog was desperate to go and bark at seagulls. We trudged up the hill, and as we approached the crest, I turned round and this greeted my gaze.
The clouds cleared for about 30 minutes, just enough to take in the fabulous views looking south east towards Mallaig, Eigg and the Rhu Peninsula. As always, I made several exposures of different views...there will be others from the sequence released; with such a panorama unfolding in front of me, many were as beautiful as this. Watch this space.
It was 'cats and dogs' by the time we got back to the cottage, but this vista set me up for the day.
